To no one’s surprise, I did not strictly keep to my original maternity reading list. I watched all the shows and read most of the nonfiction. I’m going to focus in on the monster romance I read here. What I forgot back in June is how indie authors sometimes spring cool stuff on you and then I just have to read it. I have some “Oh shiny” moments.
The Widow and the Orcs by Finley Fenn
It is important to me that I’m a woman of my word. When I say I will review an ARC, I will review that ARC. So, I was going to do right by Finley Fenn.
Invitations by C. M. Nascosta
I cried for this one. Maybe it was the postpartum hormones. But I don’t think that was the only reason.
To Ravish a Rogue by C. M. Nascosta
I am one of thsoe Nascosta readers who has likely read about everything she has put out there. I should write a book about that. This was slow at the start, too slow. I kept on wanting to know the FMC’s identity SO badly and I was pleased with where it went.
Wrestling With Werewolves by Hazel Mack
Shifters are such sluts. And dramatic romantics. I love it.
I Married A Mothman by Regine Abel
At this point Abel can make me read anything under the Prime Mating Agency Series. I am fully trained to buy as soon as she releases.
Married to the Alien Cowboy and Wrangled by the Alien Rancher by Ursa Dax
I still want my centaur cowboys from someone, but Ursa Dax is keeping me satisfied in the meantime with rough and adorable alien cowboys. Can I put in a request for more fan art?
Romancing Rem’eb by Ruby Dixon
Like Abel and Nascosta, Ruby Dixon has me trained to grab and read when she releases another story. This is especially true for anything happening on Not-Hoth.

Wrestling with werewolves was so good! Big Daddy is one of the best things I've ever read in a book. Everything I never knew I needed. 🐺
