The Fall of the Orc is another romp of orcish intrigue that will punch the reader’s heart into a mess only a proper orc grovel can cure. Lucky for the reader, Finley Fenn, has you completely covered.
I want to encourage some readers to power through if they feel the plot is slow at the start. I don’t know why it was for me. Finley has a robust storytelling style, but I can’t accuse her of being boring.
I have been such an engaged Orc Sworn reader for a while that I suspect I was bogged down thinking I knew what was happening. A little before halfway, stuff changes. Boy, does it change.
Once the plot got going, I felt treated to some fun new orc lore and orcish intrigue. Finley Fenn reminded me how it isn’t really knowing the end that keeps her plots pulling me back into her world. It is the bits in the middle that delight and entertain me.
So hold on, dear reader! Sit back, relax, and enjoy the human/orc smut because the ride gets wild.
