Orc Romance Starter Pack
Girls Weekend by C. M. Nascosta
Girls Weekend by C. M. Nascosta is perfect for romance readers who like their stories contemporary and enjoy a girls-on-vacation (at a nudist resort 😉) premise. It is the first book in an ongoing series. I would also consider it an underrated series in Nascosta’s Cambric Creek universe. It is one of my top recommendations for romance fans who are a bit monster curious.
The Orc from the Office by Kate Prior
For those with a weakness for office romance, Kate Prior has got your back with The Orc from the Office. It has work humor, fated mates, and awkward HR interactions to make you both enthralled and entertained. Bonus: Its release date is October 1, 2022!
The Orc Wife by S. J. Sanders
The first book of the Monsterly Yours series, The Orc Wife, by S. J. Sanders was one of the first orc stories I read. I still keep coming back to this series because it is fun and has great world crafting. Sanders is a nerd’s world-crafter. Have you ever wondered how to integrate cultural clashes, economics, or community structures into your fantasy or sci-fi writing plot? Sanders gives that sort of detail without being tedious about it.
The Half-Orc’s Maiden Bride by Ruby Dixon
Darn straight the goddess Ruby Dixon has an orc romance. Read it on a cozy fall evening and you might find yourself taken with her Aspect and Anchor universe as well. That is another underrated series I get to mention in this list! 😁
Property of the Green Bastards by Flora Quincy
The list is now getting noticeably darker but hey that’s a feature of motorcycle club romances, isn’t it? And, yes, you read that right. Orcs and motorcycles are just a 🤌 combo. Flora Quincy nails it with Property of the Green Bastards and I’m eager for her next series installment.
The Lady and the Orc by Finley Fenn
Want a dark romance recommendation? The Lady and the Orc. Monster romance series recommendation that’s not Ice Planet Barbarians? Lady. Unpredictable HEA? Lady. Orc romance recommendation? Lady. If you read nothing but Finley Fenn’s Orc Sworn series this Orctober then consider yourself set for the whole dang month.
